Cine to DVD - Cine Film Transfer
Our Film Transfer Process
- We clean, repair, splice (if necessary) and prepare
the film before we run it. We can transfer 8mm, 9.5mm, Super 8 & 16mm,
film to DVD. Other formats also available for film transfer include:
miniDV digital tape, .avi, .mpg, .wmv, uncompressed and compressed.
- We transfer your film in a direct-to-digital system. You can choose
the format you would like - DVD, Digital Tape, compressed and uncompressed
formats etc. We highly recommend DVD and digital tape together. That
way you have a viewable format for everyday use and an archival format
for the future.
- After the film is transferred to digital, we enhance, color correct,
add era-appropriate music (if desired) in our non-linear video editing
systems.

for your children and grandchildren.
Let us know if you would like your film transferred in a particular sequence.
If no preference is made we will make a best guess and try to transfer
your films in date order. We cannot accept responsibility for out of sequence
films.
If usable sound is present on the film it will be transferred to your
DVD at no extra charge. Any splices or joins that need replacing will
be done at no extra charge. It would be helpful if you could let us know
if you suspect the film damaged or badly repaired in any way.
