Replicated
CDs or DVDs are commonly referred to as manufactured discs and are produced
using injection molding. A glass master is produced from the original
master, which is in turn made into a "stamper". This "stamper" is
then placed into a mould to transfer the original master's data on to
the aluminum reflective surface of the manufactured discs. The replication
process takes approximately 12-15 business days, and includes a 3 color
silkscreen of your artwork on to the disc's non-reflective surface. Printing
can be upgraded to a 4 color screen print, or for higher quality offset
printing can be used.
